Acoustical Consultation

  • Has the goal of enlivening worship by developing environments which encourage dynamic expression of speech and music so the entire assembly may actively celebrate.

  • Documents existing or new architectures to determine optimal acoustic conditions for worship, and provides options, design parameters, and specifications for desired results.

  • Utilizes a process of survey, analysis, review, report, specification, and recommendation.

Organ Consultation

  • Has the goal of developing an organ plan appropriate to the specific worship style of the denomination and the musical needs of the client.

  • Is offered to churches, institutions, and individuals selecting an organ for use in worship or concert, providing thorough education of the committee about available options.

  • Includes survey field trips, educational materials, study of organ types available, specification development, bid solicitation assistance, price negotiation, architect & organ builder dialogue for proper site preparation, and quality inspection at project completion.

Organ Tuning & Maintenance

  • Technical service for pipe organs is offered to churches and schools in the upper Mid-West. The bid quote will detail frequency and extent of maintenance services.

  • Typically, two annual tuning visits are included in the standard maintenance agreement. Two additional emergency trips are available at a reduced rate. Costs are based upon instrument condition, accessibility, number of ranks, and age of critical components.

  • Our goal is to provide high quality pipe organ care resulting in increased longevity and optimal function. A pipe organ is a very important investment; we strive to protect that investment through diligent attention.

Organ Inspection Surveys

  • Offers complete diagnostic survey of all electrical, mechanical and winding systems.

  • Evaluates tonal conditions of the instrument, specifically voicing, tuning and regulation.

  • Offers a complete report of findings including a technical review and narrative summary. This report document is presented to the appropriate committee of the church.

  • Can be offered as a preliminary service to future organ consultations involving renovations, rebuilding, or new organ construction.

Sound System Design Consultation

  • Has the goal of developing systems which support the natural expression of speech and music in worship environments using cost-effective designs and reliable components.

  • Is offered to churches and institutions, using objective engineering to meet client needs.

  • Includes needs assessment, space analysis, computer modeling, quality equipment specification, site prep data, bid solicitation of qualified installation contractors, review of equipment at installation, system inspection at the completion of the project.

Video & Multimedia Consultation

  • Brings together an extensive background of technical, design, and operations expertise to solve multimedia presentation system challenges.

  • Provides consulting and design services to enable the integration of video and computer graphics presentation systems into the communication needs of our church and corporate clients.

  • Has a wide-ranging background in designing communications systems for a variety of facilities, including film and video post production facilities, small and large theaters, portable and permanent sound reinforcement systems for live performance venues, corporate multimedia presentation rooms, as well as worship spaces.

Industrial Noise Control

  • Serves corporate and industrial clients by utilizing our acoustical expertise to solve the complex issues of noise measurement and control.

  • Has assisted corporations to resolve problems with noise transmission, reduction, and infiltration.

  • Can include on-site testing to diagnose the noise problem, and the design and specification of the appropriate solutions.

On-Site Acoustical Measurement

  • On-site testing includes a wide range of measurement instruments and data recording.

  • Provides documentation of the existing noise conditions.

  • Performs a diagnostic function of the existing conditions and serves as a preliminary stage for the elimination of noise problems.
